NTGS Service Area

The Natchez Trace Genealogical Society serves a total of thirteen counties in three states. This area encompasses our core counties of Colbert, Franklin, and Lauderdale in Alabama, and the surrounding counties, including:

Lawrence, Limestone, Marion, and Winston in Alabama;
Itawamba and Tishomingo in Mississippi; and
Giles, Hardin, Lawrence, and Wayne in Tennessee.

We're happy that you're interested in becoming a member of the Natchez Trace Genealogical Society! Member benefits include receipt of our monthly email newsletter, a subscription to the annual Natchez Trace Traveler publication, and notifications of all upcoming NTGS-sponsored events. One of the most valuable benefits, though, is the opportunity to interact with an enthusiastic group of like-minded family historians and public history buffs!

Membership dues are $20 per year for an individual, plus $3 for each additional family member living at the same address. A lifetime membership is available for $300, payable in a lump sum or three annual payments of $100. Dues may be paid online or by check (mail to P. 0. Box 420 , Florence, AL 35631-0420).
